Privacy Policy

How NoBlues Community Services collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information. Last updated 19 July 2026.

NoBlues Community Services (“NoBlues”, “we”, “us”) provides NDIS supports in Darwin, Palmerston and surrounding areas of the Northern Territory. We take the privacy of the people we support, their families and carers seriously, and we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details — your name, phone number and email address, for example when you call us, email us, or fill in the referral form on this website.
  • Referral information — details you or your representative provide through our referral form, such as the participant’s name, date of birth, NDIS plan details and how the plan is managed, the supports being sought, and any accessibility or communication needs.
  • Health and disability information — information about disability, health conditions and support needs that we need in order to plan and deliver supports safely. This is sensitive information and we collect it only with consent, or as otherwise permitted by law.
  • Carer, family and nominee details — contact information for the people involved in a participant’s supports, where they are part of a referral or service arrangement.
  • Employment information — if you apply to work with us, the information in your application, such as your resume, qualifications and screening details.
  • Website data — basic technical information such as server logs. Our site uses minimal cookies for caching and performance. We do not run advertising trackers.

How we collect it

We collect information directly from you wherever possible — through our website referral form, by phone, by email, or in person. Sometimes we receive information from someone acting on your behalf, such as a family member, support coordinator or plan manager, and we rely on them having your consent to share it with us.

Why we collect it

  • To respond to enquiries and referrals
  • To plan and deliver NDIS supports safely and in line with your goals
  • To invoice for supports, including through plan managers where a plan is plan-managed
  • To meet our safety, quality and incident-management obligations, including under the NDIS Code of Conduct
  • To assess employment applications
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations

Storage and security

We store personal information securely and limit access to the people who need it to provide your supports or run the service. We keep records for as long as we are required to by law, and dispose of them securely when they are no longer needed.

When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only:

  • With your consent — for example with your plan manager, support coordinator, or other providers involved in your supports
  • Where we are required or authorised by law — for example mandatory reporting or responding to a regulator
  • In an emergency, where sharing is necessary to prevent a serious threat to someone’s life, health or safety

We do not routinely disclose personal information overseas.

Access and correction

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or out of date. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. There is no charge for making a request.
