Medium Term Accommodation in Darwin & Palmerston
NoBlues Community Services provides a safe, supported place to live while your long-term home is being sorted — a bridge between where you are and where you’re heading.
“Medium term accommodation is funding for somewhere to live when you can't move into your long-term home yet — waiting on a vacancy in specialist disability accommodation, on home modifications, or as a pathway out of hospital. Generally funded for up to 90 days, it covers the accommodation itself; your disability supports continue from the other parts of your plan.”
In plain terms
If your next home is confirmed but not ready, MTA keeps a decent roof over your head in the meantime — so you’re not stuck in hospital, or in a place that doesn’t work for you, while you wait.
